One of the hottest news around. Seemingly it seems this is the new generation but can Malaysia provide the best of the crop when it comes to bandwidth?
Lets wait and see.
Cyberport together with JuniAsia have embarked on a spiritual journey to establish the link. Lets wait and see what they come up with.
Advice On Computer Protection
Cyber Deeds You Can do:
a) Try not to get tricked into installing software. If you can do this , you almost don't need to do anything else.
b) Don't be logged in as administrator or root most of the time
c) Make sure your OS and applications are patched in a timely manner.
Do these three things well and you'll be more secure than 99 per cent of the rest of the computer world. Do these three things poorly and no amount of advanced security solutions will save you.

2009 marked - bad year for IT security
The year 2009, the IT security world had its share of good stats tempered by a hefty dose of stark reality.
Good News:
a) Most computing devices and software became more secure in 2009. Increasingly, more vendors are starting to take computer security and patching seriously
b) Companies are making critical security patches available faster than in past years (across all platforms).
c) No mega - outbreaks , other than the normal day to day type of worm such as MS-Blaster or SQL-Slammer.
Bad News:
a) Malicious hackers started to target social networking sites in a big way. Some of the biggest attacks were against MySpace, Facebook, and Twitter users. This trend will probably only grow.
b) Web creators while busy cracking on how to make their site look good , forget the MOST vital topic that is on 'SECURITY'
c) Most users are exploited by being tricked into installing malicious software disguised as an antivirus scanner, needed software patch, or video codec. People still can be tricked , like 'Quick Money'.
